166TH AIRLIFT WING STUDENT FLIGHT

Congratulations on making the decision to serve your country and community!

You are the next generation of leaders, and will inherit the torch passed down from Guardian to Guardian since 1802. You are now part of a tradition of excellence, integrity, service and honor: Be proud! Whether you are here for the next six years, or the next 20, we are excited to see where your career takes you, as well as rejoice in all of the incredible things you will accomplish right alongside you.

While you are awaiting Basic Military Training (BMT), you will be assigned to your work center during Regularly Scheduled Drill weekends (RSDs). This will give you a chance to shadow Airmen during weekend drills and introduce you to military customs and culture. Welcome, "Airman," to the Delaware Air National Guard. Thank you for your service.

PHYSICAL FITNESS

Maintaining your physical fitness is paramount in your military career. Download the "Delayed Entry Program" Airforce app available on iOS and Android to help physically prepare you for the rigors of Basic Military Training (BMT). We recommend you work out at least 6 weeks prior to shipping to BMT on a schedule of 3 to 5 times a week. This routine includes stretching, running, push-ups and sit-ups.
