Swine Flu information from Delaware's Division of Public Health, CDC and WHO

New Castle, Delaware -- Updated Swine Flu Information is available from the State of Delaware, Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health.

The above page also contains a link to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu) web site with further information about Swine Flu from throughout the United States, including current statistics on U.S. Human Cases of H1N1 Infection. The number of laboratory confirmed cases as of May 1, 2009, 11:00 a.m. EST: 141 total cases in the United States, four cases in Delaware, and one death (in State of Texas).

In Delaware, four University of Delaware students tested positive for swine flu by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In addition, six more probable cases involving U.D. students were identified Thursday morning, April 30, and those samples forwarded to CDC. This brings the current numbers to four positive for swine flu and 12 probable, according to the University of Delaware on April 30, 2009.
