Celebrating 50 years of safe flying

A crew chief marshals in Delaware Air National Guard C-130 tail #40210 at the New Castle ANG Base, Del. on Dec. 7, 2013 after the 13 aircrew members completed a Joint Precision Airdrop System training mission. At left is C-130 tail #40206, which just landed after the seven aircrew members completed a local proficiency training mission. The two missions are recognized by the Delaware ANG to help celebrate the 166th Airlift Wing’s reaching the milestone of 175,000 safe flying hours without a serious mishap over the last 50 years.
