Four new recruits take oath of enlistment at Delaware Air National Guard
Four new recruits are sworn into the Delaware Air National Guard on Sept. 30, 2011 by 166th Airlift Wing Commander Col. Jonathan Groff inside the unit headquarters in New Castle, Del. Each new enlistee will complete Air Force Basic Training in San Antonio, Texas, to be followed by attendance at an Air Force technical school to gain specific career field skills. Wayne Kersey of Dover, Del. is the 400th career recruit enlisted by recruiting supervisor Master Sgt. Gerald Miller, making Sgt. Miller one of the top recruiters in the 65-year history of the unit. The Delaware ANG has 1,100 positions, and is currently hiring for over 15 career fields with several dozen openings within those fields.
