Plane Pull fundraiser postponed until September 13 Published May 5, 2009 By Tech. Sgt. Benjamin Matwey 166th Airlift Wing Public Affairs NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE -- The Special Olympics Delaware Plane Pull scheduled for Sunday May 3, 2009 has been postponed. It will be rescheduled for Sunday September 13, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In the meantime, it's that time of year again where the Delaware Air National Guard reachs out to help support the Special Olympics Delaware Summer Games 2009. More information about the volunteer experience and specific activities will follow. Airmen will be providing support services for three days starting the day prior to the event on June 11, and for the two days of the Summer Games held June 12-13 at the University of Delaware. Senior Master Sgt. Gordon Riggs is the Delaware Air National Guard POC for our events this year. Airmen should have received information about volunteering through your commander and first sergeant during the May Unit Training Assembly. Please use your chain of command to get additional information. Sign-ups will be conducted at your unit.
