To Our Delaware Air National Guard Family,

As we are all very aware, today is the 13th anniversary of the events that occurred on September 11, 2001. Nearly three thousand innocent men, women, and children tragically lost their lives that dreadful day. In response to terrorism, many great Americans paid the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and defending our Nation's interests.

In honor of those 9-11 victims and those who have given all to our great Nation, I respectfully request you join our Nation in a moment of silence at 0846 in your respective areas. This was the exact time the first aircraft hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center and changed our lives forever - "Lest We Forget."
