Benjamin Matwey 166th Airlift Wing Public Affairs NEW CASTLE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Delaware -- The Oct. 19-20, 2013 Unit Training Assembly for the 166th Airlift Wing is officially cancelled. Wing commander Col. Mike Feeley sent an Oct. 7, 2013 communication about the cancellation via a base-wide e-mail addressed to our "Delaware Air National Guard Family." He wrote, "Because of the lack of appropriated funds, we are unable to meet our lead time for required financial planning. I understand the disruption to your lives, and the considerable financial hardship this may cause you. Your continued dedication and sacrifice is greatly appreciated. Your commanders have been given extreme flexibility in rescheduling your training."
