Delaware Air Guard 2013 deployments to Southwest Asia

Airmen of the 166th Airlift Wing, Delaware Air National Guard, leave their families and board a C-130 transport aircraft at the New Castle ANG Base, Del. on Feb. 28, 2013 to go to an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Over 60 Airmen left on Feb. 26 and 28, and additional unit Airmen and aircraft depart in late April. A total of about 100 Airmen will serve up to 120 days under U.S. Air Force Central Command, and are prepared to operate anywhere in USCENTCOM's 20-nation area of responsibility.
