Free meals bring a crowd

Airmen line up for a hot lunch courtesy of the 166th Sustainment Services Flight. Designed to provide hot meals to troops in the field until hardened facilities are available, the Single Pallet Expeditionary Kitchen can be operational in a matter of hours. On Friday, March 1, 2013, members of the 166th Sustainment Services Flight, 166th Airlift Wing, conducted their annual training requirement to get the kitchen up and running. By doing so, they provided a hot lunch of chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, biscuits and red velvet cake to 50 Airmen at the New Castle Air National Guard Base, Del. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Nathan Bright)
