Four new recruits take oath of enlistment at Delaware Air National Guard

166th Airlift Wing Commander Col. Jonathan Groff congratulates Derrick Durroh of Wilm., Del. (entering the aerospace ground equipment career field in maintenance) on Sept. 30, 2011 after Col. Groff administered the oath of enlistment to four new enlistees. Each new enlistee will complete Air Force Basic Training in San Antonio, Texas, to be followed by attendance at an Air Force technical school to gain specific career field skills. Standing next to Derrick Durroh is Wayne Kersey of Dover, Del., the 400th career recruit enlisted by recruiting manager Master Sgt. Gerald Miller, making Sgt. Miller one of the top recruiters in the 65-year history of the unit. The Delaware ANG has 1,100 positions, and is currently hiring for over 15 career fields with several dozen openings within those fields.
