DNG houses "Blue Hen Challenge"

The Delaware National Guard is housing the "Blue Hen Challenge," a military drill competition for Junior ROTC cadets from high schools across the state on Saturday, January 16 at 1401 Newport Gap Pike, Belvedere, Del.

The University of Delaware Air Force ROTC conducts the event which will feature around 200 cadets from at least 6 high schools.

The competition will feature teams and individuals competing in drill and ceremony competition, including plenty of moving parts and spinning rifles!

The event will be a great opportunity for visually interesting video and photography and arresting audio.

The 166th Airlift Wing, Delaware Air National Guard, has more than 1,100 men and women at the New Castle ANG Base in New Castle, Del. The 166AW provides tactical airlift and airdrop of troops and cargo using C-130 aircraft, plus aeromedical evacuation, civil engineer and network warfare functions.
