Delaware Air National Guard Airmen departing to Southwest Asia. Published Oct. 23, 2015 New Castle, Del. -- Media Advisory NEW CASTLE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Delaware - Over 100 Airmen from the Delaware Air National Guard will be departing aboard four C-130H aircraft on Monday October 26 and Wednesday October 28 to Southwest Asia. The deploying Airmen from the 166th Airlift Wing operations and maintenance groups will be supporting Operation Freedom Sentinel and deployed up to 120 days. About half of the Airmen and two of the four C-130H aircraft will depart on Monday October 26, and the other half on Wednesday October 28. Media are invited to attend the departures.
