Lt Col Christopher E. White serves as Commander, 166th Mission Support Group at the 166th Airlift Wing, New Castle Air National Guard Base, Delaware. In his current role he leads over 400 multi-disciplined Airmen providing Logistics and Supply, Construction and Emergency Response, Base Defense, Communications, Personnel Services and Sustainment to the Wing, State of Delaware and Combatant Commanders across the globe.
Lt Col White received his commission through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, Va. He has 20 years of service and spent eight years in the active component as a Civil Engineer. Lt Col White joined the Delaware Air National Guard in 2013 where he served as Commander, 166th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight. He followed on to an assignment as Deputy Commander, Delaware Civil Support Team. Most recently, he served as Commander, 166th Civil Engineer Squadron and Chief of Staff for the 166th Airlift Wing Air Staff. Lt Col White has participated in four deployments in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL.
