The Base Marksmanship Team is looking for interested Delaware ANG Members to participate in the 2011 Delaware National Guard Marksmanship Competition. The competition will be held during the scheduled May Unit Training Assembly, May 14-15, 2011.

There will be a few changes in this year's Match. The first change is that the Match will be a Combined Arms format. What this means is that all shooters will have to fire the M-16 and M-9 (except for the commander/first sergeant). The next change is that the Match will be conducted at Ft. Indiantown Gap, Pa. Finally, the Commander/First Sergeant Match will still be conducted at the New Castle River Road Training Site (RRTS), but those participants will only be able to shoot on May 14, 2011. Commanders and first sergeants will still have the flexibility of coming to the range anytime during that duty day.

We are also looking for any volunteers that would like to help out at the range during the Match. Participants and volunteers must have their supervisor's approval prior to registration. All interested personnel must submit their information to Master Sgt. Jeffrey Longfellow NO LATER THAN March 28, 2011. Please feel free to contact me, Master Sgt. Longfellow, with any questions or concerns.
