NEW CASTLE, Del.- On April 3, 2018, Maj. Gen. Carol A. Timmons, adjutant general, Delaware National Guard signed a proclamation on behalf of the Delaware National Guard in support of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention month. The Proclamation underscored the DNG’s leadership commitment to its personnel for continued support in promoting sexual assault prevention. April, Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM), Day of Action is nationally recognized in the United States and observed annually.
