New Castle Air National Guard Base, DE - 166th Airlift Wing personnel drilled in various stages of MOPP during our March 2021 RSD. MOPP is an acronym for "Mission Oriented Protective Posture"; pronounced "mop". This is a protective gear used by U.S. military personnel in a toxic environment, e.g., during a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) strike.
