Staff Sergeant Alfred Akeroyd, Jr. of Station 33 scans the interior of a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter during a hands-on briefing on the potential hazards they might encounter when responding to an emergency situation on the aircraft, 9-November-2021. The firefighters learned enough about the aircraft so that they could handle the situation and save lives. When Station 33 firefighters aren’t responding to a call, they use their spare time to find training opportunities and perform reconnaissance sorties into the areas which they serve.
