166th Airlift Wing active-shooter exercise tests, showcases readiness
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Michael Daly (front) and Staff Sgt. Angel Agosto-Marrero (back), 166th Security Forces Squadron members, conduct a building search during an active-shooter exercise at New Castle Air National Guard Base, Aug. 22, 2019. During the exercise, a designated active shooter entered a building and simulated opening fire. First responders, such as Security Forces, Fire Protection and Emergency Management neutralized the threat and triaged wounded personnel, while all other personnel participated in an installation-wide lockdown.
