Missing Man Table Installed in the McCallister DFAC
The 166th Airlift Wing Force Support Squadron presented their new Missing Man Table at the dining facility at the New Castle Air National Guard Base, Del. on Aug. 19, 2023. The Missing Man Table is a display that honors Prisoners of War and those who have gone Missing in Action. The table is displayed in the dining facility of a base to remind everyone in attendance the sacrifice some soldiers have paid for America's freedom. The 166th Airlift Wing Receives the First of Seven C-130H3 Aircraft
During the all-call, two promotion ceremonies were conducted in the cargo bay of the 166th Airlift Wing’s first C-130H3, 29-June-2023. Major Andrew Zook, 166th Maintenance Group CD was promoted to Lt Colonel. Captain Allen Thompson, 166th Maintenance Operation Flight CC (during RSD) and 166th Maintenance Squadron DO was promoted to Major. Wing Commander Col Lynn K. Robinson performed the swearing in. The 166th Airlift Wing Receives the First of Seven C-130H3 Aircraft
Members of the 166th Airlift Wing answer the commander’s call to commemorate the arrival of the first C-130H3 aircraft, 29-June-2023. The Delaware Air National Guard will be receiving six additional H3 models to replace its fleet of H2.5 models. TAC Week Interfly Mission 2021
NEW CASTLE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Del. -- The Delaware Air National Guard participated in the TAC week exercise from 11-April-2021 through 16-April-2021 at Maxwell AFB, Ala. The purpose of TAC week was to provide multiple opportunities to hone flight skills aboard the units’ C-130H Hercules aircraft by flying formations, tactical routes, airdrops, and flights with other airframes.
