  • Exercise Vigilant Diamond tests emergency response

    Delaware Air National Guard members participated in an antiterrorism exercise- Vigilant Diamond. The exercise kicked off on August 4, 2017 and concluded on August 5, 2017. A culmination of simulated events ensued to test the response capabilities of the base. This exercise was developed through collaboration of key wing subject matter experts and was based on realistic scenarios.

    Jenifer Mutter, received gold bars in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on April 11, 2017. Her husband Army 2nd LT. Aaron Mutter, 198th Signal Corps, Delaware Army National Guard, and children Alexander, seven, and Adalyn, three, pinned on her gold bars. She recited the "Oath of Office" with the 166th Airlift Wing Commander Colonel Robert Culcasi. Her parents Bill and Silvia Green; in laws Tim and Cindy Mutter; husband and children; Delaware National Guard Leadership; co-workers, and friends were present to highlight this career achievement. Lt. Mutter overcame many challenges to make it to where she is today.
