Exercise March Madness at the 166th Airlift Wing
166th Airlift Wing personnel drilled in various stages of MOPP during our March 2021 RSD. MOPP is an acronym for "Mission Oriented Protective Posture"; pronounced "mop". This is a protective gear used by U.S. military personnel in a toxic environment, e.g., during a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) strike.

Staff Sgt. Alfred Akeroyd a firefighter with the 166th Civil Engineer Squadron displays his wing patch, 12-May-2020. Staff Sgt.
