Shaune Peters, command chief, 166th Airlift Wing, discusses the importance of tracking individual achievements during career progression with members of the Delaware Air National Guard on February 10, 2018. Governor Carney recognizes Master Sergeant Friess
DOVER, Del.- Master Sgt. Lori Friess superintendent, 166th Comptroller Flight, Delaware Air National Guard, stands with Delaware Gov. John Carney on Jan. 18, 2018. Friess was recognized during the Delaware Governor’s State of the State address at Legislative Hall as an exceptional member of the Delaware National Guard. She deployed to Ahed Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait, from January –August 2017 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, where she served as the paying agent for the 407th Air Expeditionary Group. Friess received the Paying Agent of the Rotation Award, which is awarded to the top paying agent of an area of responsibility (AOR) during a specific rotation. NEW CASTLE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Del.- Senior Airman Matthew Hartge, client systems technician, 166th Communications Flight, holds up his First Sergeant Diamond Sharp Award on Jan. 7, 2018. Hartge received the First Sergeant Diamond Sharp Award for stellar performance while on temporary duty assignment in Ramstein, Germany from July- December 2017. He was recognized by the first sergeants of the 521st Air Mobility Wing after providing vital computer service technician support, information technology, and cyber support for 521st Air Mobility Wing, 721st Aerial Port Squadron and 721st Air Mobility Wing. Delaware ANG team brings home ARNG partners from Puerto Rico hurricane relief mission
PUERTO RICO AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, PR - Tech. Sgt. Michael Schoonover, 166th Operations Group, escorts members of the 1049th Transportation Company, Delaware Army National Guard, to a C-130 Hercules aircraft to board for departure on Dec.14. An aircrew team from the Delaware Air National Guard came down to pick up the soldiers and their belongings. Delaware ANG team brings home ARNG partners from Puerto Rico hurricane relief mission
PUERTO RICO AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, PR - An aircrew team from the Delaware Air National Guard consisting of members from the 166th Operations Group and the 166th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron pose for a photo in front of a C-130 Hercules Dec. 14. This team flew to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to pick up 36 members of the 1049th Transportation Company, Delaware Army National Guard, and transport the members back to Delaware.
