Delaware National Guard performs coin toss and flyover at Fightin' Blue Hens football game Sept. 10, 2011
Delaware Air National Guard C-130 over BLUE HENS COUNTRY! The 166th Airlift Wing transport aircraft performs a flyover of Delaware Stadium Sept. 10, 2011 before kickoff of the Univ. of Del. Fightin’ Blue Hens v. the West Chester Univ. Golden Rams college football game on U.D. Service Appreciation Night. Two of the aircrew aboard the C-130 are U.D. alumni. The aircraft commander is Maj. Troy Bockius, a 2000 U.D. graduate with a B.A. in geography. He was captain of the U.D. Cross-Country team, and a member of the All-East Track Team. The navigator is Lt. Col. John Ptak, a 1984 U.D. graduate with a B.S. in criminal justice and a minor in psychology. This is the third year in a row that Del. ANG C-130 aircraft have conducted these flyovers. (U.D.
